The world of character-driven soaps is owned by SOAPnet, which is putting its full support behind "Holidate" its newest hit in the making.

Based on the hit movie, "The Holiday," the new one-hour series from SOAPnet is being heavily promoted online with video clips, blogs and commercials that ask the question, "What if the perfect guy for you is in Seattle? Miami? New York?" Each week, two women from different parts of the country, who are attractive and successful but unlucky in love, switch cities and go on dates handpicked for them in the hopes of finding true love.

"Holidate" offers local ad sales affiliates a great vehicle to reach Women 18-49. Ratings have been strong and its premise is one that every young woman can relate to.
