X Games 15 wraps up with huge ratings success
Disney and ESPN Media Networks delivered category exclusivity for Associate Sponsor Time Warner Cable - LA.
Whether it's skateboarding, BMX cycling, Moto X, climbing or wakeboarding, the action is fast and furious, the tricks are crazier every year, and the promotional opportunities keep on getting better and better.
As an associate sponsor of this year's X Games, Time Warner Cable leveraged their space for brand awareness and took the opportunity to demo products. They integrated into the pre-event promotions with local advertising and a presence at the U.S. Open of Surfing, with sales-focused messaging promoting "Home of the Free HD" for the general market and "El Pequetazo" for the Hispanic market. These included cross-channel spots, radio and web banners.
At the same time, DEMN partnered with Time Warner for the premiere of
"X Games 3D: The Movie," which opened July 30 at the Nokia Theater
L.A. LIVE. There was a gala event with 3,500 attendees expected, including
TWC VIPs, the media, athletes and celebrities.
